This is a cool song we found when we were learning about volcanos at science day.

Adrian's thought for the day:

I wonder if there is interschool sports today? The weather is not very nice. It will be very cold playing netball today. I have a really good feeling we are going to win if we play well LOL:)

Science Week 2012

We had two days of doing fun experiments learning about how and why things happen. In ICT, we learnt how to choose the relevant information from webpages to explain why things happened. Below is a copy of my report about Science Day.

Why Room 12 Rocks

I think Room 12 is cool because we show respect and we are nice to each other and we work hard.

We treat each other with respect and respect other peoples property. We never say put downs to each other because we like to be nice to our class mates.

Our teacher helps us when we have hard work to do and she explains to us what to do. We can work with her in groups and one-on-one.

We work hard and try to be quiet when working. We know it is important to try our best. We help each other out when working so that we can finish the task.

This goes to show that Room 12 is the best class in the school. We work hard and like to be proud of the work we finish.

One of the best days of my life.

It was colder than ice on your tounge. I was going to New Plymouth, one of the biggest citys in New Zealand. Three events, one to two hours, one day to do it, one time for victory. I was doing the weet-bix triathalon. I was in a team and I got there at 8:37am. I waited for a few minutes then it began. First up, swimming. It was 1oo metres, a big swim. Ethan was the swimamer for our team. He did really well consisdering it was so cold. Matthew was representing us on the bike. He had to cycle 5km. He tried his hardestkm run, there was lots of up and down hills. Then it was my turn to do the fianl event...the 1.5km run. I paced myself like I always do, i passed a couple of people which was cool. When I got to the end of the finish line we all got a free waterbottle. So yes...this was one of the best days of my life. I had entered my first Weetbix Triathalon and I felt great about it!!!!
